An enchanted place to discover
An unforgettable Refuge both in winter and summer, with the stunning backdrop of the Dolomites. In the immediate vicinity are our ski slopes and it is only a few steps to the viewpoint of the Cima Fertazza cross (m. 2,101), which offers a unique view of the famous north face of Monte Civetta (m. 3,218).
The Cervo del Fertazza – Guardian of the Dolomites
Just a few steps from Ristoro Belvedere stands the Cervo del Fertazza, a majestic seven-meter-tall wooden sculpture created by artist Marco Martalar using the remains of trees felled by Storm Vaia in 2018.
A powerful symbol of strength, rebirth, and respect for nature, the deer overlooks a panoramic terrace with views of Pelmo, Civetta, and Marmolada, offering visitors a moving encounter with art, memory, and the Dolomite landscape.
A must-see stop for those exploring the area on foot or during a mountain bike excursion.
Ski slopes, good food, hiking or mountain biking
The Belvedere Refuge is also conveniently accessible via the Pescul-Fertazza and Fertazza chairlifts. Being open all year round, the facility is visited by mountain enthusiasts of all kinds.
