Le Ciaune is the great blue slope of Monte Fertazza: wide, sunny and characterised by a gentle, consistent gradient, it is ideal for beginners and families while still offering an enjoyable skiing experience for more experienced skiers.

The slope unfolds across particularly wide-open terrain with consistent gradients, allowing beginners to ski with confidence and practise the basic techniques. But Le Ciaune is easy without being dull: its width and regular gradient allow more advanced skiers to let their skis run and enjoy wide carving turns, for a smooth and relaxed skiing experience.

Its exposure and snow conditions help provide a firm, consistent surface that is particularly enjoyable during the first hours of the morning. This makes Le Ciaune one of the ideal slopes for starting the day on Monte Fertazza, when the freshly groomed snow allows skiers to make the most of its full width and consistent gradient.

Along the descent, the scenery opens up towards the Dolomites and the mountains of Val Fiorentina, providing the backdrop to a run where space, views and tranquillity take centre stage.

Le Ciaune can also become the starting point for a much longer descent: by continuing downhill onto the Bait slope, skiers can descend all the way to Pescul, turning a relaxed blue run into part of one of the great descents of Monte Fertazza.
