Salere

Slope: Salere

The Salere is one of the great red runs of Ski Civetta and a must-do descent for anyone skiing on Monte Fertazza.

From the upper part of the ski area, it descends all the way to Pescul over more than 3.5 kilometres, with around 650 metres of vertical drop. The route combines wide sweeping turns, changes in gradient, fast sections, panoramic clearings and passages through the forest, delivering a ski experience that is long, varied and rewarding.

Technical without being extreme, the Salere is especially popular with skiers looking for space to carve their turns and enjoy a true mountain descent. Its exposure and predominantly forested route often help preserve good snow conditions, especially in the early hours of the day.

Along the way, spectacular views open up towards Mount Pelmo, Mount Civetta and the Dolomites of Val Fiorentina. Its secluded setting, generally less crowded than the main slopes of the ski area, allows skiers to enjoy an authentic experience, away from the busiest flows.

Known and appreciated by regular visitors as one of the hidden gems of Ski Civetta, the Salere is the signature slope of the Fertazza area: a long, panoramic and sporty descent leading directly from the mountain to Pescul.

A slope to ski at least once. And, for many, to repeat immediately.
